I took this pictures of hybrid Little Egret (Egreta garzetta) in May 2010 in the Danube Delta, but had no time to post it. At first I thought it was a bird affected by pollution and only a few days ago I had a discussion with Dr. Kiss Botond, who mentioned this bird. There was another person that spotted it in the same place- Canal Crisan- Caraorman.  

There where some other observations of this hybrid egret in Spain. It is supposed to be hybridised with Reef Heron (Egreta gularis).
